LCF began in the 1990’s as an informal fellowship of expatriate Christians living and working in Lagos, Nigeria. The initial impetus was to be a house fellowship style church serving evangelical expatriate believers desiring to continue in Christian fellowship and worship to God while resident in Lagos. Thereafter, LCF evolved from the house fellowship format to meeting on Sunday afternoons and then on Sunday mornings.
